Official Name Change: RE Conversation

When I was working with department store buyers, the good ones were always the ones who knew their customers and bought accordingly; the bad ones were the ones that bought to their own taste and considered their customers stupid if they didn’t respond.

In the evolution of blogs it takes awhile to find out who readers actually are. I’ve found out this: Most people not only don’t have a clue what a ‘conversation pit’ is, but the word ‘pit’ evokes, well, pretty much anything but sunny conviviality.

So a change is in order. I like ‘conversation’; as noted, that’s what blogging is. So, in the best tradition of KISS:

RE Conversation

    I have been a long-time reader (a.k.a. lurker!) and watched as you moved from Blogger to Wordpress and changed the title. I think you’re right - the word “pit” conjurs up such a negative visual. Good choice in changing the name.
